Am I the only guy who likes to get drunk and watch cartoons? There is nothing better to me than drinking 10-12 beers and watching cartoons, especially adult swim. Is it weird for a 23 year old man to be this way? Anyone else like this? |
| To be honest......YES, It's weird. |
How did it come about that people in cartoons who get drunk get the hiccups? Have YOU ever seen a person get ? hiccups from drinking? I haven't! |
how dry i am
hiccup
how wet i'll be
hiccup
if I don't find
hiccup
that bathroom key
no, actually, mostly just see ppl get silly
or mean
i just get the flirts |
Why do older people think their cartoons were so wholesome? Shows like Bugs Bunny, Taz, and all the other looney toons were way more violent than cartoons today. Bugs Bunny always got chased around by Elmer Fudd with a shotgun, Wile E. Coyote always tried to blow up the Road Runner, etc.. Plus, in all the cartoons, people smoked and got drunk. They can't even much show real bullets in newer cartoons, they're all laser-like bullets. They can't even show drinking and smoking in new cartoons. Explain to me how newer cartoons are less wholesome and more violent than old ones. |
New cartoons are fine.
Unless you are talking about Anime. Which is just drivel, to the lowest point. Completely useless. |
Why were the first Disney cartoons full of violence, drinking and smoking? I am not sure why Walt Disney made his first cartoons so violent and have drinking and smoking in them. he does not seem like the type of person that would allow this. Was he different in his younger days then when he was older and started Disney land? |
| Back when animation was starting to catch on, people just thought it was a cool new thing, not something that is made only for guys like today. Those things containing the smoking and drinking and violence were not aimed at guys. Plus I don't think television had as big restrictions back then as it does today (where everything is severely regulated today). Also it was like the 1930s, they had different views of smoking and drinking back then. Besides it's more realistic that way. |
Why do people call me immature and then get drunk? They tell me I am immature for playing video games, watching cartoons, and joking around a lot. Then they get drunk and run when the police are after them. |
| Immature???? i would remind them that how immature it is to be getting chased by the police.... you stick to your video game and joking around, at least then your not the one likely to be locked up for being drunk and disorderly. |
How do you feel about drunk driving? Well, just like smoking, i think it is stupid. Why would you do something that could possibly kill you?. -_-
Anyway. My driver's ed class is giving an assignment related to drunk driving. we were given a poster board and we have to put things relevant to drunk driving.
I was wondering if you could give me any ideas.
It would really help if you could link some poster ads or little cartoons or something of that sort. not to fond of the brutal pictures that say this is what could happen if you drink and drive...
Pretty much any ideas would be great.
Just something for me to work off of
Thanks |
| How about an International symbol of no, (A big circle with a slash through it), having a police car with its emergency lights on like its being seen behind a stopped dui offender inside the circle. The phrase would say.....either............Stop DUI and you will stop DUI arrests ,....OR........Stop DUI to stop this (sight) ., or something like that. |
Where can I find a website with really girly cartoons? I want cartoons of women shopping, drinking cocktails etc..need them for these brithday invitations that I am designing. Cheers |

Eastenders - isn't Phil like a cartoon drunk? I suppose that he may have it about right, but all the wobbling and face pulling is so comical!. Mr aggressive is like mr happy at the moment - surely a welcome change? |
| omg hahaha!! the face pulling is hilarious |
A movie - 60's - the main character would get drunk and fight cartoon indian characters that...? ...came to life at night.
As I recall, there were two men as the main characters who were buddies. Maybe one single and the other recently divorced. The recently divorced character would get drunk, sleep over at the bachelors apartment and wake up fighting cartoonish Indians on the warpath. Seems like it could have been a film with Walter Mathau or Jack Lemon in - just a guess. Was just a guy when I saw it in 69 or 70 and it very well could have been several years old at the time. |
The War Between the Men and the Women. The movie was based on the writing and cartoons of my favorite author, James Thurbor. Curiously, but perhaps not surprisingly, "The film was directed by Melville Shavelson, creator of the 1969 Thurber-based television seriesMy World and Welcome to It. The screenplay was by Shavelson and by Danny Arnold, who also worked on the 1969 series." <>en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_War_Bet…
Can't tell from here whether Amazon will have it, but I had a VHS of the movie. |
